In 2005 Sackville Fire celebrated its 50th Annversary. A parade, open house and banquet were held to honour the people who volunteer for their community through the SVFFO.

On February 18th 2006, SVFFO took time to say thanks to the members of the 50th Anniversary commitee for all the hard work they did in putting together this celebration. Some pictures of this event are found here.
